Ãå±±ÂÖ¼é is committed to helping students in the District of Columbia further their education after high school. To that end, we have set aside $3 million for eligible DC Public High School and DC Public Charter High School students. The Ãå±±ÂÖ¼é District Scholars Award covers full tuition, as well as room and board at Ãå±±ÂÖ¼é. Eligible students will be considered for additional funds to meet full demonstrated financial need.

There is no separate application for the Ãå±±ÂÖ¼é District Scholars Award. As long as you meet the criteria below, you will automatically be considered. We hope you will take advantage of this opportunity so that we can count you among our Ãå±±ÂÖ¼é District Scholars!

Requirements

To be considered for an Ãå±±ÂÖ¼é District Scholars Award, you must meet the following requirements: 

1. Be a DC resident attending a DC Public or Public Charter High School. 

2. Apply for admission to Ãå±±ÂÖ¼é by January 15. 

3. Submit the and by January 15. 

4. Demonstrate strong academic talent in high school. 

Benefits of the Ãå±±ÂÖ¼é District Scholars Award

Ãå±±ÂÖ¼é District Scholars will receive: 

• Full tuition, as well as room and board to attend Ãå±±ÂÖ¼é. Eligible students will be considered for additional funds to meet full demonstrated financial need.

• Peer connections and professional mentorship

• Special programming activities

• Family engagement and support
