Welcome to Defending the Ãå±±ÂÖ¼é Dream Initiative

Defending the Ãå±±ÂÖ¼é Dream InitiativeÌý(Ãå±±ÂÖ¼é Dream) is a part of the Immigrant Justice Clinic at the Ãå±±ÂÖ¼é (Ãå±±ÂÖ¼é) Washington College of Law (WCL).
Ãå±±ÂÖ¼é Dream’s mission is to provide free immigration legal services to undocumented and other immigrant undergraduate and graduate students who are currently enrolled in colleges or universities in the DC metropolitan area. Ãå±±ÂÖ¼é Dream may also provide free immigration legal services to family members of currently enrolled students.
Thanks to a generous gift from Ãå±±ÂÖ¼é and WCL alum William I. Jacobs, Ãå±±ÂÖ¼é Dream is now a reality. Ãå±±ÂÖ¼é Dream firmly believes that all students can thrive in college when they feel safe and can access opportunities and resources. Our legal services address one barrier to higher education – insecure immigration status – and, with the help of our partners and allies, we address students’ other needs through referrals.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Ãå±±ÂÖ¼é Dream continues to provide legal services remotely. Please contact us at audream@wcl.american.edu.
